Goddess Pose: 142/365

This photo was taken as I photographed my friend, Melissa Calkins, in action at OmMama teaching prenatal yoga classes.  The snow globe shot that I used on the walls was also a sepia toned photo that  features our mutual friend Heather.
Do you like yoga?  What are some of your favorite poses?

  8. Oh, you don't want to get me started on my love of yoga! Very cool shot and incorporation of the snow globe pic, it really works well. Another pose I love that is similar to this one is reclining bound angle. Sort of like goddess, only for lazy people like me!

  9. @jess~ i'm in the left corner of the room, in the "white" tank. this was before i moved over to the other side into "my" corner...
anyway, M & i have a running joke about how i always used goddess as an excuse to go to the bathroom, but here is proof that occasionally i did stay and do it!

  11. love this and love yoga! just feel so much better when I do it regularly and notice a pronounced difference when I do not. I love triangle pose, Warrior II and any forward fold and down dog. STRETCHING is WONDERFUL!!! It's not about flexibility, it's about the stretch.
