Black and White: 360/365 (Thursday)

Dots: Shots with my Phone: 359/365 (Wednesday)

Triple Exposure: 358/365 (Tuesday)

Here I experimented with triple exposures.  It reminds me of the this one I took earlier in the project.

Leaves: 357/365 (Monday)

I have been thinking about creating a snow globe scene with all of the fallen leaves.  Monday, we happened upon a large pile, perfect for jumping and playing in.  This is the motion, similar to that of the snow in a globe, by a really happy child.  Our piles at home are pretty wimpy.

Immersed:355/365 (Saturday)

I decided that I was going to wrap the following Christmas garland around my head, submerging myself underwater in the tub, hopefully looking like a human snow globe, while trying to capture it all on my phone.  It wasn't easy, and I looked pretty ridiculous. As the water drained out, the garland formed a snow globe(ish) shape.  My favorite though, is the second shot where I held the camera in front of my forehead, lending a unique point-of-view, though it's not much of a snow globe shot.

Rainy Day: 351/365 (Tuesday)

I took this after coming home from shooting some business head shots.  I was really nervous, but I was proud that I pushed myself and grateful to my friend that has confidence in me.

It was rainy, so I rolled the window down halfway and used my phone to capture the rest.  It looks like I'm in some sort of Dada snowglobe, but that's only my interpretation.  What is yours?

Projector: 349/365 (Sunday)

Using the projector/sound machine in my children's room, I let the light cast through the globe.  The second photo is the actual image cast on the ceiling.

Thanksgiving: 346/365

Twinkle: 345/365 (Wednesday)

Bokeh: 344/365 (Tuesday)

Using the first snow globe that inspired this entire project, I worked last night, trying to capture the magical quality of the glitter.  Using a large aperture, I focused on not focusing on the actual glitter flecks, creating bokeh within the globe, instead bokeh in the background as seen here, #67 in February.

Together: 342/365 (Sunday)

Yesterday, I had the honor of meeting the baby my friend has always dreamt of. She knew even in eighth grade that she wanted to adopt a child, and the two were finally brought together four months ago.  You can read more about their beautiful journey together here. I'm in love!

Revealed: 337/365

Here is a banana leaf basket, usually hanging on our wall, revealing the first snow globe I started with, inspiring this whole project:) It's hard to believe!
