Drive-ins were always super fun - I haven't been to one since high school or college... most (if not all) have closed down in the San Francisco Bay Area. I don't think there are any up here in Northern California either...
Oooohh!!! We saw Cars and Pirates of the Caribbean (The third one, I think) on a double bill at a drive in. The kids loved it. Did you enjoy it? Was it a double bill, or just Spy Kids? the only one I know of is by my parents' cottage
I haven't been in decades, but a friend of mine tells me that there's one she frequents (the only one in town) about 30+ miles from here. I'm sure the kids would love it, and their mama too!

ReplyDeleteLove the top pic. I still remember going to Empire Strikes Back in my nightgown. Also having to take a nap that day so I could stay up light.
