Rose Colored Glass: 69/365

This snow globe has sentimental value to my childhood best friend, Traci and her family.  Her grandparents were happily married over fifty years and the globe has been passed down to her daughter.  I used two balloons as the background, blurred the edges and used a level one matte in iphoto.

  2. Thanks Amy. Love this pic. My grandparent were the biggest inspiration in my life. I only hope that Stan and I have the love they did. Thanks for posting this on such a special day. Love ya babe...
P.S. Plus this rose was given to me from Stan on Valentines day!!!

  4. Amy, I don't know what to say.....this is absolutely beautiful....I would love to show this to Mom....Is there any way you can print a copy and the wording along with it.....She would so much appreciate it as it depicts her ongoing love for Daddy.

  5. Very sweet. I have always loved snow globes. I specifically remember a very cool Christmas one that I took to school in second grade and broke on the playground. So sad. :( One day, I would love to have a bay windowsill filled with snowglobes. They're so pretty with light filtering through the glitter and snow.
