Lady Bugs: 329/365 (Monday)

Exploring The Carillon Monday, we found hundreds of lady bugs swarming this tall war memorial.  WHY?  Apparently, the ladies are about to hibernate or diapause (my new vocabulary word).  Here is Everything Ladybug's explanation, as well as plenty of other lady bug info.

  1. Careful! My kids discovered a few years ago (when we had swarms of them) that the orange ones bite! At least they do in Toronto. The kids were NOT impressed.
